Tenshin Nasukawa — The Japanese Fighter Once Considered One of the Best in Kickboxing

Among Japanese fighters, Tenshin Nasukawa is widely recognized as one of the most talented fighters in the world of kickboxing. Whenever the name “fighter” is mentioned, many fans immediately think of Tenshin Nasukawa. He was once regarded as one of the greatest and most promising fighters in the kickboxing world.

Tenshin Nasukawa has faced and defeated several well-known fighters, including Muay Thai superstar Rodtang and fellow Japanese fighter Takeru. He also became internationally famous after facing legendary boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition bout.

The fight between Tenshin Nasukawa and Mayweather was organized primarily as an entertainment event. Nasukawa was an undefeated and highly promising Japanese fighter who had built an impressive reputation through a series of outstanding performances. Because of his popularity and potential, he was matched against the world-famous Floyd Mayweather.

However, the bout turned into a one-sided contest. Mayweather dominated Nasukawa and stopped him in the first round. Nasukawa was knocked down three times before the fight was stopped at around 140 seconds.

Tenshin Nasukawa was born on April 18, 1998, in Chiba, Japan. He began studying martial arts at the age of five and started his professional kickboxing career in 2014.

Nasukawa is known not only for his incredible dedication but also for his ability to learn and improve. His lightning-fast movement, sharp and quick punches, accurate and powerful kicks, and exceptional stamina made him extremely popular among fight fans. Because of his remarkable performances, he became widely known by the nickname “Wonder Boy.”

Throughout his fighting career, Nasukawa faced numerous famous opponents and defeated many of them. He competed in 44 kickboxing bouts and won all 44 of them. He also competed in four MMA fights and won all four. In boxing, he has recorded four victories from four professional bouts, continuing to build an impressive undefeated record across different combat sports.

Nasukawa spent around a decade competing in kickboxing, from 2012 to 2022, during which he won numerous championships and established himself as one of the brightest stars in the sport.

In 2023, Tenshin Nasukawa officially moved into the world of professional boxing, beginning a new chapter in his combat sports career.
